  Jazz and Bentley's puppies
have arrived!

January 24, 2012
We woke up at 6:30 in the morning to hear Jazz digging in her kennel and panting.  We knew what that meant--puppies were on the way!  I moved her kennel into one of our spare bedrooms and gathered everything I would need to help birth her puppies and keep myself entertained during the process.
At 8:01 the first puppy arrived.  They continued to arrive every 20 minutes until Jazz had delivered 4 beautiful, healthy puppies.  We have 3 females and one male.  All are tri-color except for the first female born, who is white with champagne markings.

Jazz's puppies will be ready to go to their new forever homes on or after March 20.  We have already accepted 3 deposits for this litter.  Lexy has just finished breeding so we have another litter of puppies due to arrive in mid-March.

Well, it is time to start preparing Jazz for the big day.  I groomed her and Michael held her while I shaved her belly.  Below are a couple of pictures of her big belly.
According to the French tradition, each year is assigned a letter of the alphabet.  Every coton born in that year is given a name that begins with that letter.  In the spirit of that tradition, we will name each coton puppy born in 2012 with a name beginning with the letter "D".  New owners are welcome to change the name if desired.
Below is a video and picture of our most recent litter between Jazz and Bentley.  They were taken just hours after the puppies were born.  Check back weekly for picture and video updates!

Hi Cathy!
Just sending you a couple of pictures of Camron and Camila (now Louie and Chanel). They adjusted to their new home quickly. Chanel is a very smart puppy and toy hoarder. Louie is bigger, very sweet and follows me everywhere. He'll stand under my feet and cry until I pick him up!
I can't imagine only having one of your Cotons. Getting two sibblings has been the best decision I made. They adjusted so well here. Thanks again. I'll keep in touch. Just wanted you to know that the puppies are doing very well!!

Hi Cathy,
Bob and I are soooo pleased with little BJ.  He is very playful and then, such a "snuggle-bug"!  His personality is everything we had hoped for and more!  Today BJ passed his vet exam with flying colors. Thank you for being such an honest and reputable breeder.
Sincerely,
Char

Hi Cathy,

Thought you'd enjoy an update on B.J. He is Sexy Lexy's pup.  B.J. is now 7 mo. old, neutered, a puppy school graduate, housebroken, and full of life.  What a joy for us!  I am currently teaching him to dance and roll over.  He loves his treats, ball, and neighborhood walks.  He gets along very well with other dogs and people.  Our grand kids just love him.  Hope all is well with you. I am sure your pups must make many people very happy.

Cheers,

Char

Good Morning Cathy;
Just wanted to let you know that Bailey is doing SO well. He does not use indoor potty at all and has been going outside since he arrived here. He has had an accident here and there but is sure getting the hang of going out.  He sleeps in a hard case carrier in our bedroom at night along with the girls. His first night was the hardest but his crying did not even last that long. Last night he hardly cried at all.  We love him so much and he is just adorable. I will send you updates about our baby. He loves his food and eats in the morning and at night. Thank you for bringing this blessing into our lives.
 Have A Blessed Day

Hi Cathy :)
Bailey is doing very well. She used her indoor potty patch once she arrived at our home after the long journey from Phoenix.  She had a few accidents initially but she gets much better as the days goes by. We always praise her & give her a small treat whenever she uses the potty patch correctly.
She sleeps in her own crate in the living room at night. I accompanied her in the living room for the first few nights. She did not cry after the first night.
We love her so much and she is just so adorable. Everybody loves her.

Sincerely,
Johnson and Diane
